EWB-JSC Volunteering Opportunities

Membership

Joining EWB-JSC is easy! We always encourage and welcome new members. Engineering experience or background is not necessary to join. As a member your involvement with the chapter is up to you, and volunteering opportunities include mentoring, fundraising, public relations, and project design. If you would like to become involved with the Johnson Space Center chapter of EWB-USA, please contact one of our Membership Coordinators Angela Cason or Leonard Yowell for more information.

Meetings

We have monthly status meetings at Johnson Space Center in building 7 room 141 from 12:00-1:00.

Meeting discussions include:

We develop and test our systems at one of our two field site locations on Saturdays starting at 10am. Make sure to contact a chapter member in advance to get details on work locations. If the meeting is at University of Houston Clear Lake, review the directions to our field site there before coming out!

Donations

Engineers Without Borders is a non-profit organization, and all of our efforts are only possible through the generous support of our global community. If you are interested in making a financial donation to EWB-JSC, you may do so with your credit card or debit card at the EWB-USA website.

Alternatively you may donate by check at the following address:

Engineers Without Borders - USA
1881 Lefthand Circle, Suite A-1
Longmont, CO 80501

Please ensure you specify the EWB-JSC Chapter when making a donation. You may also optionally identify a specific EWB-JSC project for your donation. If you have any questions regarding donations, or if you wish to make a non-cash donation, please contact our chapter Treasurer Adam McGinnis.
